本講演では急速に発展・普及してきたChatGPTをはじめとする生成系言語モデルについて、その構成や特徴などの概要を説明し、自然言語処理ツールとしての最近の利活用の状況や事例などを紹介します。特に教育分野での応用について注目すべき動向と、モデルのマルチモーダル化やプロンプトと呼ばれる入力形式の多様化により実現できるようになった新たなタスクを示し、これまでに指摘されている主な課題と今後の展望について述べます。
